Daintree River Wild Watch

With Ian (Sauce) Worchester

Daintree River Wild Watch offers you an early morning bird-watching tour experience. Not only is it a special time on the river that only early mornings can offer, but it is the optimum opportunity for some great bird-watching and photography.

Having worked on the Daintree River for many years, in all seasons and weather, Ian (Sauce) Worchester has come to love and respect the river.  No matter how many times he goes out on the river there is always something new to see. It is that type of river, with all of its different eco systems, the rainforest and mangrove system, where you can see the amazing and beautiful bird life, snakes, frogs, lizards, turtles, butterflies, mammals, insects, epiphytes (plants that grow on trees) including the lovely orchids, and of course the renowned saltwater crocodile. With a chance to capture that exceptional, rare photo that comes along now and then, that is very special.

Spectacular Sunset tours are also available, allowing photographers to take breathtaking shots of the majestic Daintree River.

Tours are available at exclusively discounted prices to our guests of only $50.00 p/p for all tours!
