It is that type of river, with all of its different eco systems, the rainforest and mangrove system, where you can see the amazing and beautiful bird life, snakes, frogs, lizards, turtles, butterflies, mammals, insects, epiphytes (plants that grow on trees) including the lovely orchids, and of course the renowned saltwater crocodile. The Wilds of the "Bloomfield Track"
The main roads around the area are all sealed all weather accessible, however the "Bloomfield Track" is 4x4 only. Some spectacular scenery is on show if you have a 4x4 or are able to hire a 4x4 with a 10% discount through
