 As there is no electrical power connected to this remote area, most resorts here have gone down the path of running diesel generators to supply their power. We have chosen to use clean, quiet, renewable solar which, in its very nature is quiet and does not smell. This is all in keeping with the atmosphere of the area. The Rainforest is a natural Air Conditioner allowing guests to enjoy the surrounds and the sustaianability of this natural environment.

 It is not the place for those who need shops or loud entertainment, however we do have some great small restaurants and country pub. We suggest that if you do need shops or loud entertainment then a stay at Port Douglas or Cairns might best suit. There are several tour operators, ready to bring those people up on a day outing. However there is a myriad of things to do for those who love nature, peace and quiet.
